On March 20^th, 2023 the Second Call for Proposals of the Italian-Albanian Debt for Development Swap Agreement (IADSA II) to finance projects in the social sector in line with national strategies and priorities for the development and integration formulated by the Albanian Government and the Development Cooperation Program between Italy and Albania was launched.

The initiative supports the Albanian national sectorial agencies and the Albanian municipalities; the projects can be carried out in collaboration with Albanian municipalities, Albanian and Italian non-profit organizations (NGOs-CSOs), Italian Local Authorities, Italian or Albanian Universities.

Projects that concern the following priority areas of intervention are eligible: inclusive and quality education, public health and preventive medicine services, social care services  to persons in need, social inclusion of subjects at risk of poverty and exclusion, sustainable territorial development, enhancement of the Albanian cultural and touristic system through territorial promotion, contribution to the intelligent management of urban waste, increase the awareness for the use of the renewable energy, promotion of the development of agriculture and promotion of innovative solutions for protected areas and eco-fragile systems. 

The amount of contributions that can be requested from the 2^nd Call for Proposals of IADSA II, must be between 400,000 (four hundred thousand) to 500,000 (five hundred thousand) Euro (equivalent to Albanian Lek at the change rate issued by the Central Bank of Albania on the date of publication of the 2^nd Call for Proposals of IADSA II).
